The Redwood Kyudojo in California headed by Maria Petersen Sensei (6th Dan Kyoshi) and Tim MacMillan Sensei (5th Dan Renshi) serves as our head school.

Our school is nationally affiliated with both the Northern California Kyudo Federation and American Kyudo Renmei which are members of the International Kyudo Federation.

Both the South Florida Kyudo Kai and Gengetsu Kyudojo in Ocala are the only two formally national and International Federated Kyudojo in the State of Florida

Northern California Kyudo Federation

The Northern California Kyudo Federation is dedicated to the art of Kyudo, Japanese Archery. We are part of the American Kyudo Renmei. Member dojos: AZ Kyudo Kai, Redwood Kyudojo, Renseikan, Seishinkan, Shiseikan.

American Kyudo Renmei

We are an organization devoted to the instruction and practice of Kyudo in the Americas.

International Kyudo Federation

The International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) was founded in 2006 by Kyudo enthusiasts from around the world to pursue the ultimate goal of Shin, Zen, Bi (Truth, Goodness, Beauty) while cultivating its members through the practice of one of the most traditional of Japanese arts. With Her Imperial Highness the Princess Takamado as Honorary President, the IKYF aims to achieve peace in society throughout the world by strengthen the trust and friendship among its members through the spirit of Kyudo.
